ftalks has celebrated its 6th edition by bringing together in Valencia the global leaders driving the transformation of the food system within the framework of the World Sustainable Gastronomy Day.
The most intimate B2B meeting in the sector, driven by KM ZERO Food Innovation Hub, gathered over 600 people including startups, corporations, investment funds, support entities, and opinion leaders with the mission to find consensus and put on the table what is necessary to achieve a better food system at local, national, and global level.

Think Tank
We have reunited a group of 50 global leaders to reflect, generate recommendations, and highlight success stories to transform the food chain towards a more regenerative, healthy, and just system. The conclusions of this Think Tank will be compiled in a report.
Food conference
More than 100 speakers from 20 countries have addressed the main challenges of the sector and the opportunities that arise to create a better future of food. Regenerative Agriculture, Artificial Intelligence, Food Security, Health and Nutrition, and New Proteins were some of the topics addressed.

Future Market
More than 50 products from startups that are setting trends in the foodtech sector and will occupy the shelves in the coming years could be tested in this edition of ftalks. Neuroscience applied to the food sector, waiter robots and upcycled food produced from waste were some of the novelties presented.
Experiental Dinner
ftalks attendees embarked on a gastronomic journey through the past, present, and future of food through 22 dishes created with local, seasonal products and from the startups participating in the Summit. This dinner has been certified by Chefs' Manifesto, an initiative supported by the UN in line with the SDGs and made up of more than 1,500 chefs from around the world.

Smart Networking
More than 6,000 interactions through the official app were registered on ftalks24. Participants enjoyed quality networking in which they were able to establish valuable connections and business opportunities.
Startup Forum
By KM ZERO Venturing. For the first time in its history, ftalks has had a stage dedicated exclusively to the Entrepreneurship Ecosystem in which debates on open innovation, investment and public financing for entrepreneurship were presented, in addition to the pitches of the finalist startups.

Startup Awards
The 6th edition of ftalks has announced its winning startups: Blue Tree and Carbon Harvesters.
Blue Tree has won recognition in the Most Innovative Startup category, thanks to its solution for food manufacturers capable of selectively eliminating physical sugar in natural drinks, thus producing juices and milk with less natural sugar. For its part, Carbon Harvesters has been chosen as the Most Sustainable Startup for its platform capable of certifying agricultural emissions reductions to monetize them as market premiums or in the carbon offset market.
The winning startups have received a financial prize of 5,000 euros, which in the Sustainability category has been supported by Solulim, while the Innovation category has had the contribution of Vicky Foods. In addition, the winners will join the community of investors, leading companies in the food industry and entrepreneurship support entities of the KM ZERO Food Innovation Hub.
Workshops
How can we create more sustainable materials using by-products from the agri-food industry? How can we improve our health through food? At ftalks'24, the workshops"biomaterial cuisine" and "food as medicine" have been developed together with the Sirope Lab studio and the chef Begoña Lluch to answer these questions.

Gastro Genius
Workshop
Our GastroGenius initiative also had a space on ftalks. We brought the younger generations closer to the future of food through a workshop where they developed innovative solutions to the challenges proposed by the companies Platos Tradicionales, Helados Estiu and Patatas Lázaro.
