Biodiversity and resilience, digitization, protein 4.0, health and well-being... are some of the challenges facing the food system; the same ones that have been the thematic axis in ftalks'22. More than 100 national and international speakers have presented the solutions that are creating a better future for food and have inspired us to take action.


Future Market
Valencia has become the world showcase where it has been possible to smell, eat and feel the food of the future during the second day of ftalks'22. There, more than 50 innovative products were exhibited that will gain more and more prominence on the shelves in the coming years, aligned with the values of health and sustainability.
Future Lunch
The biodiversity and richness of the landscapes of Valencia. That was the motto of the Future Lunch that took place on the second day of #ftalks22. A menu with local and seasonal products composed mainly of plant-based ingredients. Detailed elaborations with the collaboration of startups that contributed their innovative products in order to create a balanced, sustainable and healthy menu.


Food Design Expo
Within the framework of the World Design Capital Valencia 2022, of which KM ZERO is a collaborator, we unite the community of designers and artists in an international Food Design exhibition. In ftalks'22 different projects were presented where the role of design and its transversality in the entire value chain of the food system have been highlighted.
ftalks Food Summit Startup Awards 2022
The final touch of ftalks'22 has been put by the two award-winning startups in this edition: Isauki in sustainability, for the development of algae-based plant-based fish; and Let's Cook in innovation, which designs cooking kits with new recipes and fresh local products, in the exact amounts to cook healthier and with less waste.
The ftalks'22 trophies were designed by Lowpoly and manufactured by 3D printing, using materials composed of compostable plastics, mixed with organic material such as orange peel.
